Recently I had DNA profiled, which indicated that 37% of my DNA comes from West Africa. I'm a Black American with typical feathers and look. Yet a White American in the group was also profiled, indicating that 31% of his DNA comes from West Africa. Where is the line drawn?

Why can you not ask a curious question without people taking you seriously.
I find yahoo answers fun because you can ask anything but I've been annoyed lately because people assume because you ask something that your that type of person.
For example you can ask how long would it take to walk to california from dc ... and you don't get answers you get ignorant comments like... why would you walk to cali, or why not take a plane, or your crazy to want to walk... Well duh... it's a question, I wasn't seriously considering this..

That'd be one example...

So why is everyone so serious on here and why is it so hard just to answer what was asked???????

I have wanted to commit suicide at least once a week for as long as I can remember, although I usually fight back the temptation because I realize how incredibly.. bad of an idea it is. Still though, do any of you ever consider it, and then have to talk yourself out of it often?

fairly nice hotel in Ashland Oregon..In the middle of the night we could hear a woman screaming and being beaten up..we think that she was being thrown into the walls..we tried to call the hotel management and 911 but they had turned the switchboard off so that no calls could go in or out. Is this legal in the US? We really didn,t know which room it was coming from and had nothing to defend ourselves with and were just awakened..If I had known the city I would have gone to a pay phone or driven to the police myself...As it is we did nothing because we didn't know what to do. Seriously, what would you have done?

Something happened to me when i was very young, and I have the issues that relate to it, but i honestly don't remember it. I can only suspect. I'm sure it was extremely traumatic. I can remember things from when i was two, but not when i was 3-6. Any idea how to bring this memory back so i can deal with the problem? I'm definitely ready now.

I always see dirty diapers rolled up and stuffed in shoe boxes, inside Tupperward containers, up the sleeves of jackets, on the floor and in shopping carts at Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, etc.

Convenience stores because we don't give a sh*t about things as long as we have something from a cenvenience store to keep us comfortable. Thus less civic and community stuff happens.

Or lawn mowers because they give off much more CO2 than cars and lawn mowers are even more unnecessary than cars. Thus global warming (climate change).
