What silly hats are you refering to exactly? All religions have histories (some going back thousands of years actually) and traditions. That does not make them "silly". They all have meaning and if you studied a particular religion there is actually meaning and a reason for whatever is worn by the clerics of that religion and by some of the followers. These are not random things but have great meaning for that religion. Uniforms as it were are worn for all kinds of things. I don't get your point at all. And why would someone's religious preference or their tradition bother you in any way? Not very tolerant or educated is it?

It's rather telling that you are ethnocentric simply because you deem another's culture (I'm including religion under the broad spectrum of culture here) to be silly only because you don't understand it. Think for a moment, what are things you do that other cultures would think silly which you find normal or important? In any event, it is from their religious beliefs that people wear certain articles of clothing that hold specific, religious importance to them that other, less astute observers, would regard as silly.

A strict Muslim or a Hasidic Jew may no longer go including you. no longer go including Nuns? Boy, you under no circumstances went to a Catholic Grade college contained in the former days, or per chance you probably did and for this reason you experience that way. those who're very conservative of their non secular gown in many circumstances are trying to set themselves apart from the 'international'. yet regardless of this, some human beings from the Mideast, India, and so on gown in classic procedures and are very astounding and under no circumstances radicals of a few type. you're a great deal surprised in case you ever were given to attraction to close some human beings from different cultures how they're better like us than distinct. i'd say if I made acquaintances with a Muslim, Orthodox Jew, and so on. and they doesn't be ashamed to 'be considered' with me", i doesn't quite care what individuals concept because maximum each and every individual is particularly a lot an similar regardless, except they're non secular fanatics. it isn't a lack of "criteria", being tolerant of others is a "popular" in itself.

Well, let's look at it this way; There are two guys from different religions, each wearing their religion's hat. Each points at the other and cracks up. Which one is wearing the silly hat?

Silly hats go with silly religions ... not to be confused with sensible faith led by Jesus.

The hats attempt to conjure AUTHORITAEE ... like cops' hats .. to make the head look bigger.

most religions wear some type of head covering, it was only in the early 70,s that the catholic church changed the rule that required the wearing of head wear. however that rule applied to women only.

"I would rather reason drunk with a dog than reason sober with a religious fanatic."

Being silly and religious has nothing to do with hats.
