Yes, I keep having this obnoxious dream that is driving me crazy. There is a big explosion, and suddenly everything in my visual field is covered with gray clouds, dust, etc. When the smoke clears, I realize that I am the only person left alive within my eyesight. I try to navigate my way thru the debris, and come upon a group of soldiers in red uniforms. They have taken a battered, torn American flag and are holding it "under arrest." They order the stars to stand at attention, and march single file, down the stripes, to the edge of the flag, and one by one, they make them "walk the plank", forcing each off the flag by the point of their bayonettes. As each star falls, there is the most horrifying scream, as they fall into the center of the earth, which is filled with molten lava. I try to flee, remembering there is a subway underground, hoping to find a safe haven. When I get there, though, I find it is filled with people of the same nationality as the soldiers, and each seat has more than too many people strapped in place; apparently they have been hiding here dormant until this moment. They seem to animate when I open the doors, and I realize there is no more safe places. I wake up with an overwhelming sense of dread/doom. God I hate that dream!

I have had a reoccurring dream for the past 20 years. It is always the same. I am watching a air show and the airplanes are futuristic and it starts off fine. Then they begin to bomb everyone I try to get as many people as I can out of the line of fire, but nobody listens. People are dying around me and there is nothing i can do other than save myself. It turns into a war. Just when I am about to die I wake up every single time. it is scary because even though I know how it is going to end I cannot change it.

Yes. A dream where I'm lost in the subway and can't seem to find my way out. It's usually desolate and I have this horrible feeling of dread throughout the dream. I've been having this same dream for years now.

I used to have a repeating dream/nightmare that I was in a situation where I knew I was about to die and could do nothing about it.
You should go to your doctor if you are experiencing this, they can help.

I often get repeating dreams all the time, usually they are about events that have happened in the past, and I always get the falling dream- maybe I'm insecure?

yes i have always had a dream of me flying over beautiful land green sceneries with plush vegetations. in my dream i will be chased by a man and i will run then when he is almost getting me i leap up in the air and start flying, the man will chase me still sometimes he will be on a horse and i will fly on at times he almost catches me, but nowadays i mostly run leap in the air and fly away and in my dreams i fly over vast land over the ocean and over valleys some times its just for pleasure but one thing that never misses is i have to save someone in trouble so i fly then go low and scoop the person and fly them away from danger, i rem one particular time i had to save a mother and her child from a war torn zone bombs were exploding everywhere and i just flew over them picked the mum and child and flew away with them to a safe zone.
when am happy i simply dream flying over the most beautiful nature sceneries you could ever imagine. i feel like ave visited the whole world at times.
the truth is i still do not know the meaning i hope to find out one day.
