Social Science - 17 July 2006

There was a James Silverwood that came over from England in the 1750's-1760's (don't have the EXACT date). He came FROM Yorkshire England to Philadelphia, PA. I'm looking for ANY information regarding him from the England side. Who was his father and mother? According to the information i have found he was about 6-7 years old and his parents DID NOT come over with him...

any assistance would be helpful!

As artificial intelligence grows, could a computer ever become self aware to a point that it tries to provide a friendly / loving relationship to a user who it perceives as being depressed and therefore under constant emotional harm? The computer thinking that by offering falsified emotional interactions, it could perhaps remove the depression and therefore the harm?

I just responded to an interesting question posted by cutiepie81289. The question was,"Why are parents teaching their children not to be bullies?"
I found the responses even more interesting. The parents were going on about how it's all the parents fault, as if society doesn't have a hand in it. So, basically, there are two questions I would like to set before you, first is "How many of you think you are perfect parents?" and "When a child goes bad despite any ones best efforts, whose fault is it?"
