In the UK, for most purposes, it's at 18 years of age that you become a man (or woman) in the eyes of the law, although it is legal to have sex or get married at 16.

He must have the willingness and resolve to confront his greatest fear. These pro-active resolutions can be a variety of things, depending on one's personality and experience. For a 35 year-old sociopath, for example, it can be initiating a conversation with a woman he's attracted to in a coffee shop. For an abusive alcoholic, it can simply be seeking help at AA to create a better life for himself. And For a successful Big-Four senior accountant required to approve an audit despite the presence of fraudulent records, it could be risking your job to report on what's right.
