Having a child together and raising him or her. You are connected for life, there is something that is growing and both people contributed to the creation and development of this child. You can never shake this, it leaves a ripple that can often be felt for generations.

To hold nothing of yourself back, even the not so cool things, and to be accepted and trusted as you are. Not easy to find, and can't be faked. To be able to laugh at, and with each other, without feeling slighted. To have at least a few things that you enjoy in common, no matter how silly they may seem to others. Never raise your voice, and walk away from senseless arguments. They are all senseless. Enjoy your old age, as well as your youth. They both have advantages. Know that there are probably very few, if any people you can have this relationship with, so stop looking. Souls have magnetic attractions to each other. The one that fits yours will arrive without any effort on the part of either of you. Oh, perhaps the most important thing. Love yourself. If you don't, you can't really share your love with another.
