let's say there are 3 doors, and a prize is behind only one of them. after you choose, one of the other 2 doors is revealed to be empty. now there are only 2 doors left. you are given the option to switch your door. what would you do??? would you keep the same door or switch??

before you answer, please read the rest of this:

this is called the monty hall conundrum. it is actually much smarter to switch. if you switch you will have a 2 in 3 chance of winning. if you don't switch though, you will only have a 1 in 3 chance of winning. if you don't believe me, then look it up on a search engine and read about it.

most people though will argue any mathematician and insist that it is 50/50 either way. they use the logic that "you never know, it MIGHT be the door you initially picked", which a terrible argument because it MIGHT be either door. what's smart is to use ockham's razor and go with what is MOST LIKELY.

invariably, some people will still insist that it's 50/50.

Please don't leave angry answers, I'm just curious...

How many pro-lifers (the ones who think that abortion is unquestionably murder with no justification) who are old enough do any of the following;

a) Foster parent and/or adopt drug addicted children or any other "unwanted" children

b) Volunteer in outreach programs for; drug addicts, prostitutes, at risk youth groups, domestic violence shelters, inmates convicted of sexual assult, etc.

c) Volunteer as a Big Brother/Big Sister for at risk teens

d) Do ANYTHING for the cause of preventing abortions other than vote to make it illegal or voice your opinion publicly?

Now, like I asked before, please don't leave angry answers. It's a real question I have - not just my way to tick you off or anything. I've never had an abortion and I haven't stated whether I'm pro-life or pro-choice because I want real answers without the assumption of where I (the asker) stands on the issue.

Thank you.

Ok by this I mean... females say they have a problem ie the car don't work...

Their girlie mates hug and give sympathy etc , sit there and listen... but the car is still broke...

A gay would get a tool kit, get her to help, fix the car, make her watch so she sees how to fix it, car owrking, next time she can fix it...

Thats the crux of it...

Ie teen girl, hates self, balemic, cuts self etc...

counceller listens yak yak Uterly point less.

Joey here would take her down beauty r Us, sort the hair, loose the glasses, and the braces. Get laser eye surgery so no more contacts, fix the allergy., manicure, pedicure, maybe palstic surgery... get her looking buff. Then get clothing coaches that will work with her personality to get her sexuy confident clothes... ie rock chick, surfer babe, biker chick, hip hop chick, goth, trendy, etc.

Prob sexy uniforms too... nurse cheerleader etc...

If a smoker is fully aware of the well known and documented results of the habit. But continues to do so until he/she developes one of the many diseases associated with it and ultimately dies from it. Do you think it could or should be ruled as a suicide instead of being considered a complication of the condition suffered that originated from the intentional act of smoking itself? What if the person was entirely uninformed about the dangers of smoking, but suffers the same fate? Even while ignorant of the facts they still die from something they Made the choice to do?

There once was a time when feminism fought for the helpless. They faught against the business men who oppressed others in order to succeed in their selfish goals. Now, radical feminists believe killing helpless unborn children for the sake of their education and career is, not only understandable, but logical.

Decades past, feminists once resented the idea of neglectful fathers putting their careers before the needs of their wives and children. They strove to make these neglectful fathers realize how much their wives and children need their support and participation in the house. Now, radical feminists not only support women who put their careers before their children, (and are hardly home), but often encourage so.

Has Radical Feminism forsaken the original goals of Feminism? Have they been overpowered by the "enemy"? Do Radical Feminists live by the saying "If you can't beat them, join them"?

Three U's. Unknowledged,Undiagnosed,Untreated.
Gender dysphoria;(child wants to be the opposite gender) some born with, others learn characteristics(child often acts like the opposite gender). Both often mistaken as gay child. Gender dysphoria does not mean you are gay. If a child or parent knew this, they would be ahead of the game.
Children that look like the opposite gender they was born, opens up opportunity for someone of same gender to like a person in special ways, at young age that can confuse children.
Not all children that think they are gay have a gender dysphoria. Some children experience touches that cause impression on mind, then forgotten and later severe post traumatic distress can cause child think of choosing to be gay, when the emotions were from a past forgotten. Kids do not choose, often think they are born this way, and that puts kids in vulnerable places. People just do not know enough, become frightend threatend and even scared. Let us be informed.
