There was one in the room where I was staying while in France. At first I thought it was something to wash your feet with, but I figured it out. They save paper and get the job done, but a cold splash on the behind is not my idea of pleasant. I'll stick with the wipes.

I have used a bidet, but I much prefer wiping.
But in some cases for females at their time of the month, a bidet can come in very useful, as it can be used to wash their private parts.
The bidet has a powerful stream shooting upwards. If you turn on the tap (depending on your water pressure) the water can reach the ceiling.
In my grandmother's day, they used it as a form of birth control. They would use it to douche after intercourse. It worked for her.

I love the bidet it comes in handy after intercourse as well...

I have never used one, so I am not sure of my preference- Does it dry you off too?

I think it isn't easy to get used it but, really it's very help full device and make u feel ur that u get extra clean ............
