I know how you're feeling, I felt the same way a few months back, and realised i had to do something about it. I talked to my doctor, who was really supportive and helpful. there wasn't a day go by, that I wasn't in floods of tears, moody, paranoid, suicidal to name a few of the symptoms of how I was feeling. My doctor prescribed me with anti depressants which I was quite wary of taking, as I know in the past that they have had some bad press, but I feel normal now, can't remember the last time I've felt really down, so taking a tiny pill once a day, can't be that bad, can it? You should do the same, sometimes talking about it with someone can help. My doctor said that it depends what a person is depressed about, sometimes there is no reason, some people need counselling, others need anti depressants. Don't torture yourself or feel guilty like I did, about the way you are feeling, it's not your fault, there's nothing you can do about it alone, without help. Depression is a shortage of chemicals reaching the brain or something, I'm not entirely sure, but speak to your doctor, who will be able to help you. Best wishes, I hope you feel better real soon.

Promise yourself that when you feel that way you will talk to someone right then. There are suicide and crisis lines everywhere - many even have 1-800 numbers. You don't have to try to work through those feelings alone. I promise you that you are never alone - there is always someone you can talk to 24 hours a day - 7 days a week.

I felt the same way going through my teen years. Also off and on through my first marriage (only partially kidding).

Everyone has ups and downs ... some more so than others. If these thoughts are really troubling you, talk to a professional counselor.

Could you post a message about what causes these suicidal feelings?

I am not a psychologist by any stretch of the imagination, but here is some food for thought. Thinking like that is negative and non productive. Right now...all you have is your life. Why not do something with it instead of sitting around feeling sorry for yourself. What are you...some kind of wimp?? Believe me when I say you can be whatever you want to be. Start by respecting yourself and make it your business to realize that you have value...yes you do. Life is tough to us all...It takes work to overcome. Just believe in yourself, set some goals, and work toward giving yourself a chance enjoy this precious life you have.

Life always changes, so if you wait to see what happens tomorrow, you'll never need to commit suicide. I'm sure someone loves you and would be hurt if you did something to harm yourself. I know that God loves you more than anything. Be brave and face tomorrow and the day after that.

No matter how depressed you are over something, you need to look beyond it and see how you can take something bad and make it into something positive. Commting suicide is a way of just giving up without fighting for yourself. I know it's hard, but it is true when people say, "This too, shall pass."

A lot of people feel like that sometimes. As long as you arn't really thinking of following it through your okay.

If you can discuss it with a good friend who knows you and your circumstances well.

If you cant and you have these thoughts often contact the sammaritans, they will help you see the positive side of things

When it comes, wait ten minutes. It should go. If it doesn't, walk, walk, walk up to the nearest market, and look at all the vegetables, and buy the pretty ones, and make a salad. You are allowed to get yourself a beer, too. BUT WATCH OUT FOR THE PUMA BEHIND THE CURTAIN.

what ever your troubles are.......there's NOTHING worth taking your life over....... not only do you die, but those who love you that you've left behind die too.......... there's a saying........ Those who've committed suicide die once, those left behind die a thousand times over........... I know this because at the age of 13 my son hung himself over a girl. It was in Oct of 2002 and I still have nightmares of finding him hanging in his room. Screaming at God, why did he take my son........my ONLY son! I've since been to counseling and seeing a psychitrist and on many medications.......... but no matter how many meds i take, or how much therapy I get, the nightmare continues to haunt me.
If you are feeling this way, talk to someone......... a preacher, your parent, your spouse? (don't know your age) your teacher......... SOMEONE!!! Please don't ruin your beautiful life that God gave you and distroy the ones that love you............
