In the US, "jock" isn't racist (at least I've never heard it used as a racist term); it refers to varsity football players usually. But I'm sure that they'd love pie and mash. All the athletes I've known love to eat :)

Londoners were the ones who were famous for their pie and mash. It was eel pie and people raved over the liqour.

Not my taste (and I am from London) but I know loads of people who loved it.
