Apparently, the media has told us that when steel framed
buildings get very hot, they EXPLODE VIOLENTLY just like
in a controlled demolition, so that all their steel columns tear
apart over dozens of floors (even floors that were not on fire
can even explode??? Why?) converting hundreds of
thousands of tons of steel into shredded metal or red hot
motel metal for over 6 weeks, and turning very strong concrete
floors completely into fine powder EXACTLY like a well
planned controlled demolition!

Powerful stuff, this "jet fuel" (or kerosene); even just a few
small fires on a few levels, can TOTALLY LEVEL giant
skyscraper buildings! Take a look at the evidence that air
fires, fed by jet fuel, can completely pulverise skyscrapers,
without the need for any explosives!

Look at this proof that jet fuel air fire can MELT STEEL!

Amazing!

When an object falls through air, there's a drag force (with dimension M * L/T^2) that depends on the product of the surface area of the object and the square of its velocity; i.e.,

F = C A v^2

where C is a constant.
The constant C has dimensions of _____

There are three vectors: A,B,C. Vector A is 70.0 units East of North creating an angle of 28.0 degrees. Vector B is 40.0 units West of North creating an angle of 56.0 degrees. Vector C is 46.8 units straight down South. Their magnitudes are given in arbitrary units. Determine the sum of the three vectors.

a) Give the resultant in terms of components.
Rx = 39.44
Ry = .....?

(b) What is the magnitude of the resultant?

What is the resultant's angle above the +x axis?
.......°

Please help me to do this question. I got Rx = 39.44 by using 70 cos 28 + -40 cos 56 + 46.8 cos 90

help me how to find Ry???????? please
and show me the work also..Thanks :)))))

According to HUbbels law, red objects are the farthest in astomomy although this does not hold true in our own galaxy with stars, some being intrinsically one color or another.

Are Quasars objected thrown out of embryonic galaxies as suggested by some x ray images and even visible light images which suggest a connection between galaxies and quasars as opposed to quasars being on distant edges of the universe

If so would the universe scale be much smaller than thought, quasars being in our local clusters

Two rooms are connected by a hallway that has a bend in it so that it is impossible to see one room while standing in the other. One of the rooms has three lights switches. You are told that exactly one of the switches turns on a light in the other room, and the other two are not connected to any lights. What is the fewest numbers of times you would have to walk to the other room to figure out which switch turns on the light? And the follow up question is: Why is the answer to the preceding question “one”? (Look out, this question uses properties of real lights as well as logic.)

At the same time a block of iron and an equally heavy iron sphere are released from the top of a slope. Assume that the friction between the slope has a negligible effect on the velocity of the block and the sphere. Which of the two will be down first?

There is this slope prepared for this experiment. Then a block of iron and equally heavy iron sphere is brought to the top of the slope and release from the top of the slope at the same time. OK – assuming that the friction between the slope has a negligible effect on the velocity of the block and the sphere – [who in yahoo answer has the intelligence to tell which of the two will be down first?]

when I was younger, I used to think that Nuclear Power Plants used nuclear material to collect electrons, but now I know that it's only the heat given off that creates steam which turns a turbine.
HOW LAME!

Why can't we use nuclear material to create electricity directly?
Or maybe even replace electrons altogehter.. replace the electrons with some other charged particle that repells objects similar to magnatism, maybe then we will no longer need copper wire???? If we could find an alternative to electrons and have repulsion properties, we could re-invent the electric motor, make it so that it works directly from nuclear material??
