I dont know which angle to use,,,for example on this problem: four forces are acting on a hot-air balloon: F1=2280.0 N up, F2=2250.0 N down, F3= 85.0 N west and F4= 12.0 N east. What is the precise direction of the net external force on the balloon. The answer should be about 23.3 degrees above West,,,,,please show me how to do this problem...thanks!!

A gas is contained in a chamber such as that in Figure 15.5. Suppose the region outside the chamber is evacuated and the total mass of the block and the movable piston is 120 kg. When 2030 J of heat flows into the gas, the internal energy of the gas increases by 1745 J. What is the distance s through which the piston rises?

In computing, some problems are considered impossible to parallelize. My intuition tells me that reality acts in a completely parallel manner, but I am not a physicist.

I was wondering if any physicists could answer this question, or point me in the direction of related research (if any exists). As well, I would be interested in research about how systems develop that cannot be made parallel, if reality itself is inherently parallel.

TIME SLOWS DOWN WEN U TRAVEL AT D SPEED OF LIGHT, only if our physical age does not increase, then its true ?
einstein said in his theory of relitivity that time slows down if we travell at the speed of light, THE QUESTION WHICH COMES TO MY MIND IS.... its only acceptible if our physical age also slows down and when we travel at the speed of light spending one year in outer space then our physical age should aslo increase one year only, other wise YOU MAY SAY , only your clock slows down at the speed of light ... WHAT DO YOU SAY ?
