Scientists have speculated on Time travel for a pretty long time,
Can a time machine be created.
Can the present be altered by changing the past
(the scientists have invented the supercollider ,but that only affects particles and cannot aid Humans in time travel)

Many years ago, even as late as the 1940's and 1950's, people used to think that breaking the sound barrier would have some dire or extreme consequenses such as traveling through time, or causing some catastrophic event. It was also widely believed that breaking the sound barrier would be impossible.

Today, it seems that a lot of both scientists and laypeople believe some similar things about the speed of light! Do you think that 50 or 100 years from now if/when we break the "light barrier" that people will look back and laugh about what we believed to be true?

I and my friend can assemble a clock in one hour when at rest (not moving).

We are having two similar clocks. I am at rest whereas he is moving with a speed of 0.8C.

I start assembling a clock when my clock shows 1.00. He also starts AT THE SAME TIME assembling another clock. His time piece also shows 1.00 at the time of start.

When both of us finish the assembling, what will be the time in our clocks?

Will both of us finish the job simultaneously?

If not who will finish the job first?
