Kinda an interesting question. I would say yes because the speed would all be relative to the energy spent to achieve this plus I would be dead anyways.

ok....so two objects start next to each other, one moves away from the other at the speed of light. from the stationary object what would it look like happened? to the moving object what would look like happened to the stationary object? I understand that nothing with mass can move at the speed of light, this is just hypothetical, a frind asked me and I didn't know how to respond. He didn't give a number for the rate of accleration but I'm not sure if it matters.

I have often heard that we cannot say anything sensible about what was "before" the Big Bang. The universe as we know it began with a singularity etc. etc. But shouldn't we reason thus: if from this singularity there followed the Big Bang, this singularity evidently was not in equilibrium. In fact, from the fact that there is change - the only thing which I consider a fact, since even if everything is merely a hallucination, this hallucination is changing - we can reason out that this change cannot have begun nor will ever stop - we can reason that there has never been, nor will there ever be, equilibrium. Dontcha think?

if two runners are placed in a track and the slower runner is given a 100 m lead the faster runner can never catch the slower because he must always come to a point the slower has already passed if both are moving at a constand speed. the fast runner will have run a hundred meters, bringing him to the slowers starting point; during this time, the slower runner has also ran a set distance, say 50 m. it then becomes impossable for the faster to catch the slower, because whenever the fast runner reaches somewhere the slower has been, he still has farther to go :)

Is there any where in the universe that would not have any atoms?

Or is that the definition of space...that it has things in it?

Where is all the missing antimatter? Instead of doing a dance and positing near total mutual annihilation after formation of both leading to today's matter universe, could time reversal really mean something here, and the antimatter produced be moving in the reverse direction? Number lines in one dimension can extend both before and after zero point. Spatial dimensions extend on both sides of any reference point one defines- why not time? And in a spacetime closed universe these two ends will meet- so time too? If so, then antimatter will be coming at us from the 'future' which is also before the past. What little we see today in cosmic rays may be partially all that's left after future annihilations, which will have eaten the bulk of all matter and antimatter (but not today).

Of course this scenario requires a little fuzziness about the time between the Bang and matter formation. Unless there was some sort of linkage through the singularity to the other side, now lost.

Thoughts?

From a 100% stationary observer existing outside our Earth, solar system, and galaxy, how fast would a person standing on the equator be traveling through space?

Earth's equatorial rotational speed is 1041.666mph + Earth's orbital speed around the sun is 66,660 mph + .... + .... = ?

I guess I need to learn how fast the solar system rotates/orbits within the milky way, and how fast the milky way rotates/orbits within the entire universe, to get the final answer.

Ok, I have a grade 11 physics question that I really need help with. I can't ask my teacher because it's an assignment and he won't answer any questions and I can't ask my classmates because we each have a different assignment.
I've been sitting here for very long trying to figure out but I'm getting stuck at parts and I'm getting cramps and aches because I can't figure it out.
I'm asking for someone out there to please...if you have a little time...help me out. If you can explain them to me as to what I have to do, scan your answer back to me or just any sort of help would be appreciated.
So, if you like physics please answer this question and please give me your email address so I can send it you..only 1 question.
And my email address is: ashamon32@aol.com
If anyone out there can help me, you have no idea how much stress will be taken off my back. Thank you.

Why are silicon wafers always circular in shape?. Is it because it has least wastage after etching the dies?. I see that we have a die, the edges of the circular wafer are always covered with partial dies. This is a lot of wastage, so why not the wafers be rectangular or squarish. I beleive there will be more wastage of die space if it is squarish/rectangle. Please confirm this.

If there is any other reason please let me know.

Is the purpose of adding salt to cooking water (such as boiling pasta or potatoes) for flavor, or does it reduce the boiling point of the water -- thereby shortening the time needed to bring it to boil?

Or does it increase the boiling point, causing the cooking to occur at a higher temperature?

A 500 watt electric heater is used to boil 2kg of water at 40 degrees celcius into steam at 130 degrees celcius. <---assume constant volume.
a) Determine the amount of thermal energy required.
b) If the process takes 3.5 hours determine the efficiency of the heater.
I know you guys will need specific heat capacities and latent heat vapourization and all those so please email me at ashamon32@aol.com and I'll respond right back. If you you don't want to type then you can write it and then scan it. I hope I don't sound demanding, but just any help would be really good right now as I'm struggling. I can't ask my teacher as it's an assignment nor any of my classmates; they all have different assignments. It would be better if you guys could help me in emails instead of here. But any help u offer then thank U

If I had a very large fish tank in my basement on a set of large scales. It was filled with water and the usual fish tank stuff. If I hopped into the fish tank and floated in the water, not touching any part of the fish tank, would the fish tank weight more with me in it, or would it make no difference to the original weight of the tank?
