I tend not to "believe" in anything. A belief is a structured set of ideas that can't be changed. (Like a person's "belief" in God, either you do, or you don't) I try not to keep such a polarized thinking. I tend to go more with "good ideas" because that's basically what Darwin's theory was. A good idea. Hence why it is a "theory" and not a law. If there was a better idea that came along, I'd tend to follow that idea more, whereas if I "believed" in Darwin's theory, then I would not be able to accept a more valid, logical conclusion, because I have put my "belief" system in Darwin. Make sense?

Also, shouldn't this be a "biology" question and not a physics question?

Yes I believe in it. It has a lot of data to back it up..more than any other theory put out there that I am aware of.
Could it be wrong? Yes Does all the data point to it being the correct idea? Yes

jessrabbit5: You must never have seen an animal in your life..they do have emotions and demonstrate them every single day..please go visit a zoo. As for why monkeeys are turning into people there was a break millions of years ago which is backed up by fossil and genetic data that we went one way and chmips and other primates went another and other primates went different ways from each other too. If anything the population explosion has shown that humans can become dumber and de-evolved reverting to animals..and if something can go one way it can go the reverse way too

Most people today have learned about the "theory of evolution" at some point during their grade school years, and assume this theory is fact. Though most people do not know the details behind this theory, who proposed it, and what evidence the theory has been based on. If anyone stops to take a look at this so-called evidence, they will realize that much of it is not evidence but simply a combination of assumptions and wishful thinking. Below is some information we gathered from different sources on the subject which we feel are true.

Which Theory?
His law of natural selection is easily testable.
His theory of evolution is still a work in progress, but it still needs work that is why it is a theory not a law.

I do not believe humans evolved from lower life forms.

Absolutely, it's provable everyday just by looking in nature. In our time some examples are the moths in England that adapted to a different color to match the trees discolored by pollution.

Even the Pope says that evolution is provable.

No - why don't more monkies turn into humans nowadays? And why are there still monkies if they turned into humans? I definitely think people evolved over time, due to their environment - just as every living organism adapts to their habitat, but I believe that people were created as people and animals were created as animals. Animals don't have emotions, people do... that's not something you can "develop".

Darwin was a pervert. He made up this theory to take the attention away from him that he was a pervert.

Most of the data that he had collected supported his theory, so I would say yes.

no. i like my theories to be summed up into one book I can carry around with me filled with ambiguous claims and fairytales to describe the way the world works. has to have a central character in it too.....
