The difference amazes me. Once you cross the state line in Florida there's a difference. I thought it was all the Gulf of Mexico. I would think some of the water mix together and the difference would be gradual.

Don't ask me why, but I took my stainless steel ring and I heated it up with my gas stove. I stuck it in there til the metal turned red, and the flame which is normally blue turned orange for some reason when the metal turned red. Anyway, afterwards i cooled it off in water and now it's all discolored and it feels different. It's weighs less and it doesn't feel the same. Plus, it's ugly cause it's all black and blue. What happened? Someone help

maybe you'd use the atom as a switch in the computer. or just make a little switch the size of an atom or smaller! maybe you could make a whole circuit board the size of an atom.

My favorite scientist writing popular literature is Richard Dawkins, who's absolutely brilliant. That said, Gould had a bigger following, but since his death, I'm not sure that anyone is really filling that niche well. Sagan was great in his day, but again... I'm not thrilled by the other physicists writing these days.

I love to read, so feel free to throw in suggestions of books with your author names! And I don't care what branch of science... just looking for great books and writers. Thanks!

Okay, in order to participate in Intel ISEF, I must participate in a regional contest first. If I participated in the regional contest in 11th grade, is it possible for me to participate in Intel ISEF in 11th grade too? I mean I don't want to participate in Intel ISEF in 12th grade because I want to include on my applications that I participated in Intel ISEF. If I participate in Intel ISEF as a senior, I might not get the oppertunuity to say that I have participated in Intel ISEF.
