Are their certain foods that are impossible to forget how they taste? Are complex flavors easier to forget than a "pure" elemental one. Are there even such things as a pure flavor. OH, maybe the ones we have on the different regions of the tongue as the pure flavors (salty, sweet, bitter, I forget the other(s) Mind you, we assume that the taste isn't connected to events in your life.

When a molecule impinges on a receptor on a nerve cell in our nose, the receptor recognizes the molecule by its shape. If the shape is 'right' the nerve cell fires and ultimately we experience a sensation of smell. But the molecule itself only has "shape" it has no "smell".

If you disagree, (ie if you think the molecule has BOTH "shape" and "smell" ) are you saying "shape of a molecule" and "smell of a molecule" are two distinct physical properties of a molecule that just magically go together? If that's not what you mean, please explain what you mean.

"950W of power at 45km.hr winds
Delivers 100 Kw / hours a month at an average wind speed of 5.4 m/s
Adjustable voltage (12/24/36/48V)"

Can someone please tell me what that means? And my question is would you be able to indefinitely power a small fridge, a TV and other things on that wind turbine which costs $3 000?

I think it was on TV.. probably Discovery or something, where there was this guy and he turned this snake over and you could sorta make out legs on its back but like they were squashed in to be part of the body. I wasnt paying much attention so I could be mistaken.
I'm just wondering whether snakes did evolve from lizards....

Thanks!! :)
