IMHO, the newton's third law is having several differences with the first law
1. the third law say that there are TWO side/objects (action and reaction side) while the first law only ONE objects
2. the third law said if one side (we called it A) making a force (action) to another side (we called it B) , then the other side (B) will "take revenge" and do the SAME AMOUNT of force (reaction) to the A side and have one line work. This is NOT cancelling each other because each forces do work to DIFFERENT OBJECT, so they CANNOT be cancelling each other and cannot be summed.
Thx

probably the easiest way is from a fired gun and the recoil. the more energy used in discharging the bullet the larger the recoil. this experiment was demonstrated well on an episode of mythbusters on the discovery channel.
