i think so. i heard that when people need surgery to take out a brain tumor, part of the brain may get removed. but it is only a minimal amount of tissue like if it is dead.

yes, but i wouldn't reckomend it
some people who have brain disorders have the part of the brain that is preventing the brain to function removed. the brain is able to still function properly but not perfect

through surgery yes but no surgeon will do so, unless you have a major brain disorder in which a large chunk of your brain does not function and then it can be to risky to try to remove that portion of the brain.

i've seen it in TV before i think his name is mohamad he was shot in the head and blew half of his brain. surgery made it possible & his willingness to live. well he lived! he also finished high school but he has to relearn all his skills including walking, writing and even speaking. that's kinda weired for memory lost :))

Yes. What capabilities you will lose, if any, depends on the particular part removed. So one does not do this except as treatment for cancer.
