And it keeps going this way until the Earth becomes too cold?

But if the Earth becomes too hot, wouldn't the world just erupt in a different--less calm--way?

It's either action or inaction, and we live in a time where there is both on earth.

everyone wants to go all ape-**** about the da vinci code, and how mind blowing it is- but robert anton wilson and robert shea wrote a very similar novel in 1969 called the illuminatus trilogy about the same topics and covered them in much more depth and with far more accuracy than dan brown. has no one heard of robert anton wilson, or do americans just love paying people for stealing other peoples' ideas and art that much?

We all know alcohol dehydrates the body. But how much alcohol by percent volume does it take to cancel out the water in a drink?

For instance if I drink a litre of water. How much alcohol would need to be added to it so that my body lost more than a litre of water?

The example I was thinking of is Denver. If a bomb explodes in Denver, would people living in the mountain towns some 30+ miles away as the crow flies be safe? Would the only danger for them be the radiation fallout?

According to Amnesty International, more than 166 citizens have died after being tasered by the police and in most of the situations, the suspect wasnt threatening to police. Tasers are bing used on citizens for small reasons where as in the days before tasers, police officers would have to negotiate, nowadays its taser the person first then ask questions.

personally,i believe in science, no religion.all religion has to prove creationism is some book of fiction (bible) that some guys wrote when they had nothing better to do. evolution has been around longer than that book has,and science holds proof over religions head, like teasing a dog with a steak that you're gonna eat all for yourself.science has proven itself,while religion has just held up a book and said "look at this,some drunk wrote it, its the truth, his imaginary friend told him". true religion is the worship of mother nature,paganism. then the roman catholic church had to come and destroy them by killing and murdering its followers and leaders.

We've all seen the nuclear tests where they blow up the bomb in the ocean, and a crazy amount of water shoots up in the sky. How come these tests don't cause massive tsunamis? Seems to me that they would, but maybe I just don't know enough to understand, which is why I ask, :)

I've read that 70% or so of all dust is dead skin (ewww), which must be carried around by air currents. I know that when I have closed a room off for summer/winter, dust collects.

But if that room were airtight, and those air currents unable to enter, would the room still collect dust? Less dust? No dust?

Just one of the strange thoughts that occurred to me in the shower this morning . . . :o}
