I know a lot of you Biblers will be quick to say that God created everything and I believe in the same thing. PLEASE... I don't want to hear from any more Biblers today!!!

I want to hear from the intellectual ones who actually know what's going on. Where is the universe going? How did it began?

Can you provide a link for me that can tell me in an easy way how it all began? Do black holes lead matter to white holes? What is in the very middle of the universe?

I can tell you what I know. I know we live in a heliocentric solar system with it's own star, and that there are billions of stars in our galaxy, and that there are billions of galaxies in the known universe. I know there is a black hole in the middle of each of these galaxies that transport matter into an area no longer visible to us. I have recently learned about other dimensions where unseen material exists in total chaos, or is this just a theory?

Please help me understand the nature of things?

Hi, I am curious what people think makes a good science teacher. What do you want out of a science class? I'm have taught before and will be teaching again. I'd like to have some input from a broader sample.

Religious fanatics (and idiots) refrain from answering please (unless you can be open minded, for like 5 minutes). But my question is based on a conversation that pondered whether or not God could be defined ultimately as a mathematical equation. Much of what we know day-by-day is eventually defined by mathematics or physics. Numbers and formulas are associated with so much of what exists around us (i.e. E=MC2[sq'd]). Therefore can the concept of God itself, be a series of complex or maybe even simple mathematical variables that construct not a single entity, but perhaps a formula that represents creation (big bang) and eventually destruction?

Everybody agrees that, as you get older, you feel that time goes by quicker. Why is that? I once read that it had to do with body temperature, because as we get older, body temperature changes. Any scientific theory that you know of?

I'm guessing it's because the heat makes the moisture in the bread come to the surface, but why does it do that? And where is that moisture hiding before you toast the bread? The bread doesn't feel moist before you toast it, so where did the moisture come from? Is there some chemical reaction when you heat it that creates H2O? I'm just curious.
