Been thinking about this since I was young..asked the peeps around me but none gave me a convincing answer. Anyone out there to help me? :p

Some folks dream in color; others, not. Some people, in their dreams, experience tactile, olfactory and gustatory sensation, as well as having auditory components in dreams. A lot depends on the person--we don't know, exactly, why one person dreams with sound, sight (black and white) and nothing else, and another gets the full color, full sensation treatment.
It's interesting enough, but unexplained...
And before anyone out there tells me I'm wrong about some folks dreaming with all five senses in place at once, be aware that I have dreamt in that mode. Don't do so every time; indeed, only rarely do so, but I've been there and done that...
OK, so maybe I'm weird, but THAT'S not a newsflash!

The vast majority of my dreams are in color but I have had a dream in black and white. Sometimes my dreams are tinted to a specific shade like blue or yellow.

Had an artist ask me that once.
Not sure.
I do remember an occasional dream, which I can't reveall, too personal, in vivid color! Blood red color! Other than that, not sure!

Both, for the sake of economy are dreams are in color when color is an important quantity in our dreams.

we dream in both black and white and in color. however, we only remember very few of our dreams and we can only remember ones in color.

my dreams are in color because i remember looking at a yellow sign and i know it was mcdonalds. but i dont think that you can read in your dreams, or at least i cant in mine

I belive both. But the dreams I had were mostly in color.

i don't know.. in fact i don't dream very often.. but from my little experience mine came in blck & white & they were rather a blurr.. but i know ppl who have very clear dreams.. it depends really !
