First, being solids, getting them cooler would not make them drinkable. They would have to be heated above their melting point to become a liquid. And, then, it would be WAY too hot to drink. Even if you could drink it, once it got inside your body it would cool to a solid. That sounds painful just thinking about it.

As for taste, assuming you could taste anything that was that temperature, the gold would taste metallic and the diamond would taste like dirt.

Diamond would probably taste like nothing, gold would have a metal taste. There are some expensive restaurants that serve a dessert with gold flakes in it, they taste like nothing.

diamonds are carbon, Gold and garbon are elements that are solid at room temperature. for you to taste them they would have to react with saliva and body temperatue to produce a gas. Since what they tase like is dependant upon how they chemically affect the taste buds and scent sensors I suppose that carbon and gold would both taste somewhat sweet.

Neither would taste like anything. Neither is volatile so they've got no aroma, and neither is chemically reactive so they wouldn't affect your taste receptors.
