personally,i believe in science, no religion.all religion has to prove creationism is some book of fiction (bible) that some guys wrote when they had nothing better to do. evolution has been around longer than that book has,and science holds proof over religions head, like teasing a dog with a steak that you're gonna eat all for yourself.science has proven itself, while religion has just held up a book and said "look at this, some drunk wrote it, its the truth, his imaginary friend told him". true religion is the worship of mother nature, paganism. then the roman catholic church had to come and destroy them by killing and murdering its followers and leaders.

You have a sound point about creationism but you could tone it down a little.
P.S.(to nuttsters chick)You are completely mistaken. Darwin was boiling pigeon skeletons to compare the bones, not to age them.

There are some good books about the agreements of science and the Bible. You'll find it amazing! Science truth and the Bible do not disagree, it's science theory and the Bible that disagree and pre conceived religious ideas do not have a place in the understanding either.
The Bible(King James Version) was translated by 50 scholars over many years and canonizes scripture adopted. It's not just one man's fancy.

I think there's an element of both. I believe in a Higher Power that I can't define who created the world and left it to its own devices. Then when things went wrong around the age of dinosaurs, the Higher Power wiped the slate clean as best it could and created conditions favorable for the eventual human evolution.

Lots of people tell me I'm wrong, but it makes sense to me. It works with the proof of science and the faith of the inexplicable.

Evolution by Natural Selection is the most reasonable explanation for the origin of different species on Earth that is backed by a considerable amount of evidence. I dont foresee any other theory or explanation in the future that might prove Natural Selection to be wrong.
Creationists are free to propagate their beliefs but that doesnt take away anything from evolution.

We haven't proved either. Personally, I see no problem with evolution being part of God's plan.

Regardless...even if it turns out that God made us out of Lego blocks...it doesn't alter His truth, one way or the other. I think that we should be grateful that He made man...and not worry too much about the details.

(Sorta like a hot dog...they taste great but why would anybody want to know what's in them?)

Worship mother nature? I dont think we should worship anything at all. There should be no worship, because worship means humbling yourself to some higher thing. In my opinion, humans are the highest level of consciousness. With enough innovation, effort, and luck, we can conquer anything, even death in the future. That's what i believe. So yes i believe in evolution, but i disagree with your nature worshipping.

I believe that God created upon this earth PRIOR TO Genesis 1:1-31, 2:1-3.

I believe God destroyed all prior creation (Gen.1:2) to bring forth man created in God's likeness (Gen.1:26), with an UNBROKEN lineage beginning with Adam.

It is my belief that God created the universe, and that it is up to science to explain how God did it. As for evolution, it is a self evident fact. Viruses mutate and evolve, and higher organisms evolve as well. It just takes longer the more complex the organism
