Since we don't habitate space continuously or without replenishment, the sea equivalent might be a nuclear-powered submarine which may stay submerged for months at a time.

There is/are hotel(s) underwater in the Carribean along some reefs. Again, they get resupplied (presumably daily) from the surface rather than have some sort of mechanism to exist without outside help.

Of course there are schools Lisa S. Schools of fish. I would imagine in the future they may build a habitat because there is so much to learn about our seas and oceans. Scientist believe that there is a wealth of knowledge to be had in the way of medicines, foods etc. For now, I don't think there is one. but you never know, the government has hidden things from the public before. So who knows

Poseidon Resorts is planning an underwater resort to open by the end of 2007:

There are also plans for an underwater resort in Dubai (construction to start soon, I believe):

Of course, the sailors on nuclear submarines also live completely underwater for months at a time.

Actually, it's not a community such as you have in mind. There is a place... I think it's in the Bahamas... where you can stay overnight or for up to a week underwater... look up underwater hotels or underwater adventures... it's probably in there somewhere.
