After a hot dry spell, there usually follows a thunderstorm. Once the storm hits, you get a wonderful smell (I've described it as hot tarmac mixed with meadow - but that is an inadaquate description - if you can do better, feel free).

Exactly what is it that I smell after a thunderstorm and has anyone managed to reproduce this as a scent?

our planet is round, so everythign that is level is straight and level compared to round, that means a level is not stright but actually curved slightly, but appears stright to us, that means our perception of ourselves is not truley what we look like because everythign is relative to the spherical earth we live on . . . .

does this make any sense, what do you think

I have asked a similar question to this, but I am looking for more answers.

Does anybody know how you can classify sciences by their... fundamentality? Lol word?

What I mean is we could place physics at the top, then below that put chemistry, since to really understand what is happening in chemistry, you need physics. Then under chemistry we can put biology, for the same reason, then maybe phychology... I cannot think of where to put ones like astronomy, climatology, geology, ect.

I heard somewhere that color actually changes depending on light conditions, since all color is is how light is reflected or something like that. So if you were wearing a red shirt in a pitch dark room, your shirt would actually be black at that time. Is this true? I need scientific proof too!
