Abdus Salam from Pakistan is a good candidate. He won the Nobel Prize in physics (with Weinberg and another)(beginning of the 1980s) for the electro-weak theory which unifies the weak interaction of «light» particles like the electron with electro-magnetism.

since when are indians and pakistanis not white? their skin could be black as coal, but the are still caucasians. there are many oriental scietists, but mostly they build off of western technology. nothing original. george washington carver is about the only ***** scientist of note, but then he was an american, and grew up around american science. if you mean african scientists, there are none
