Its only 113 in phoenix.
A few years ago it was 127 at this time of year. I think its getting cooler here.

We can thank a population boom post-9-11 when the East Coast lost jobs and businesses relocated. With the mass migration West, there was a desperate need for housing and businesses. The extra asphalt and concrete keeps heat internally in to the Earth. Now, Post Hurricane Katrina.. same problems. Basically, this is why housing should be built UP and not out. TOO MUCH CONCRETE = HOT AS HELL

Holy Toledo, I live near Palm Springs and it has been 108 today. I saw a fat man in the park selling shade this afternoon. I hope it soon passes.

I live in Oklahoma and the other day it was 109 degrees in some parts of our state...That's not normal...I am not sure about the science thing...Someone said something about global warming but I try and avoid that topic...
