I believe that coincidences happen (by the way, there is a spell check on Yahoo Answers) but some coincidences seem to be more than that. Some are huge. Some seem like fate. Some seem like they are destined from a higher being.

I do believe in telepathy, for one thing. You know, the brain has an odd way of functioning and scientists have not been able to understand it thoroughly even now. Coincidences may happen when the thought processes of one person gets interlinked with those of others, somehow. Until and unless scientists can clearly understand the brain for what it is, we can never definitely say that there are no such thing as coincidences.

nah, I believe coincidences exist. Every single aspect of life can't be completely planned out! Otherwise there is no such thing as free will and humans are not responsible for their actions at all.

Coincidence implies "result of chance". To deny coincidence would be to assume that everything is pre-determined and fated. And that doesn't fly with me.

That is a very difficult word to spell. Anyhow, I think if something very, very strange happens it could be divinely appointed. There has to be some quiencidences that happen just out of sheer statistical probability. But I do believe sometimes God uses certain circumstances to get our attention; but not all that often.

Yes, there are coincidences.
But not everything that LOOKS like a coincidence IS one.
The important thing is to know the difference.
