First I will refer you to the book by the scientist Davidovits, "The Pyramids, an enigma solved" The evidence is there.

The vast majority of people and Egyptologists still believe that the stones were cut and hauled and set into place. Granted Egyptians did haul huge granite blocks and statues weighing many tons. But the millions and millions of blocks of the pyramids, each stone being giant, were not made that way.

It is interesting that the Biblical description of the construction of the Tower of Bable matches, the translation is that they made bricks, but that is impossible because bricks would crack under the heavy loads, it is known that they crack too easily. If you see a column of brick it is a facade and there is a steal beam inside, except for small walls and such.

I have almost answered the question but I have not been direct and I am looking for informative answers.

I have posted this in the science category because I do not see an archaeology category.

This has a similar feel to the "does the use of a power inverter while driving a car dramatically decrease gas mileage?” question. But the question at hand is: does a refrigerator use more energy when it’s full as compared to when it is empty. My thinking is that it does. If there is one water bottle in the fridge and one outside of it, the one in the fridge has used the cold air in the fridge to cool itself down, while the one outside has obviously not, but if you put the second one in the fridge that bottle will use the cold air in the fridge to cool itself down as well. Now the fridge has to supply twice as much cool air to cool both bottles than it would it there was only one. (I use the term “air” loosely)

I would love to hear what every one has to say... especially if I’m right… my girlfriend has taken the opposing side.

Thanks.

there was a discussion group talking about time travel and solving the randon quas theory. they developed a plasma bubble that in side slowed time or stoped it.By useing atomic clocks they determined that time was slowed and stoped. if the plasma bubble colapsed it caused any organic material to be destroyed. I wonder if the goverment stoped the discussion . there must have been some kind of break truough. what answers does anyone have.

Almost every other country in the world uses the metric system of measurement (meter, gram, celsius, etc).
Should the United States convert to this system like the rest of the world, or should it stick to the English System (inch, yard, miles, ounce, pint, etc)?
