No.

I can always find a real world explanation for things that seem "mysterious" to me. You just have to be willing to question things and go out and look for the real answer.

Yes, I would have to say that I do believe in some sort of spirit that lingers on after death or comes back to earth after death. I think it is some sort of alternate reality type of thing. Like there are two worlds and we live side by side, but we rarely notice each other. Sometimes at odd times or places when we or the spirit experience strong emotions we might become somehow noticeable in the other world. For example an odd chill or all of a sudden it gets cold or something moves.

I live in an old farmhouse almost 200 years old. The man who built it also died in it and there have been some strange happenings that just can't be explained. I could mention them to you but that would take a while, so i will just mention one that is easy to explain. When I first bought the house, it had been abandoned for many years and was decrepit. I hired painters and carpenters to come and work on it before I moved in. They would leave their supplies in one room, lock up, and the next day they would be moved to another room. That was strange, but this next thing was even stranger. They told me that the door bell was broken because it kept going off. That house never had a door bell.

These are just a few of the many things that have happened in my house that I just can't explain. Nothing bad has ever happened, and i actually enjoy thinking about the possibility that we are not alone.

Well, I believe in ghosts along the same line as in Ghost Whisperer. Not Halloween-type ghosts, put the spirits of human souls who have not yet crossed over because they have unfinished business with the living. Some people can see and communicate with these ghosts, and help the ghosts and their loved ones deal with their unfinished business, and help ghosts to cross over. Maybe do some research and see if there was some accident where people died in the house. I don't think most ghosts are there to harm you, so I wouldn't really worry, but I understand that you are a little freaked out.

Yup,

would have been the most sceptical person to answer this question a few years ago.

Not so now though, seen too much, experienced too much. When a spirit is in a house, all you have to do is acknowledge their presence and tell them that you would like them to move on.

Sounds kinda strange, but there are many things we don't fully know about yet. It may even be arrogant to say we know anything for certain. Its a big wide world out there!

Good luck

I think your auntie is just getting used to her strange new surroundings. most people at some time have experienced the feeling of something else being around us when we`re alone but 99% of the time its due to magnetic fields that are all around us.
these are invisible but we, as humans (and animals), react to them. The rosary beads wont work against magnetic fields!! Animals sometimes seem to have a sixth sense, this is due to the change in the magnetic field around them, they are able to usually escape a major disaster.

let her know what you have done for her and everything should be just fine. If she experiences any more trouble, I would consider washing the walls in a light rose water mix. But if the spirit is not disturbing her, why disturb the spirit?

well, i'm catholic so i have to believe in ghosts (holy ghost = holy spirit).. umm ask your church to bless the house and see if the ghost goes away.. if not, then it's either a ghost with a really really strong attachment to the area or the ghost isn't hostile at all..

Yes and no! The bible says that ghosts do not reside on earth, but demons do. They will take over human bodies and people that are infected usually act sparadically insane. It also says that if you demand the demond away in Jesus' name it must leave.
