1. Solve 2x^2 - 3x - 1 = 0

2. express 5 - 2 ln x^3 - 2 ln y as a single logarithm.

3. simplify 2x^2 multiplied by the 5th root of x then all of that divided by x^0.

4. write down all the factors o 15 and hence factorise x^2 - 8x + 15.

all primes can be divided by themselves e.g 5/5 = 0, 3/3 = 0, so they have a prime factor.
And all composite numbers have at least one prime factor e.g 9/3 = 3

so 1 is kinda weird, is this right?
thanks and merry christmas!

How do I solve this using l'hopital

lim e^{ln[tan(x)/(x)]/[(x)^2]}
x->0

it reads:

e is the base

this is the power: ln[tan(x)/(x)]/[(x)^2]
ln[tan(x)/(x)] is the numerator
[(x)^2] is the denominator

if you know how to solve this please show all your work!
THANKS!
