A rectangular book has several axes of symmetry, consider the two axes that split it in half and are perpendicular to its sides.

Throw it into the air giving it a rotating motion about one of the axes; repeat with the other axis. Do you notice a difference? Can you explain

I know that tan 75= tan (45+30)=tan (A+B)
so, (tan 45+tan 30) / (1-tan 45 tan 30) =
(1+1/radical 3) / (1-1 times 1/radical 3) then from there my math gets all messed up. Can anyone show me the correct way to finish this and end up with the answer: 2+radical 3? Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Find area of region enclosed by the curves.
Two curves are x-y^(2/3)=0 and x+y^4=2.

I know that in this case we should set y^(2/3) = 2-y^4. The problem is, how do I solve for y? Two solutions are +1, -1 but how do I continue from here w/o using a calculator.

hey there! :)
i've developed a new tree structure for organizing semantics.
can anyone give me some pointers on how to prove a tree.
is it good to prove it by analyzing the way the tree is being used to solve a particular problem, say text segmentation?
how should I write a paper on it? like, what are the angle i should focus on and etc.

thanx!
