Find the slope and y-intercept of y=-3/5x-2?
Find the slope and y-intercept of y=-3/5x-2
This is negative three fifths minus two

I can't understand the concept of finding the slope and the y intercept, can someone explain it to me? I would greatly greatly appreciate it. This is my weakest part in math, and I'm lost and our reading doesn't do mush for us.

I'm not talking about how tall was she in the painting when she was sitting down, but what I am asking is what was her height standing up, and what is there in the painting that you would base your guess on? I have a math theory based on measurments in the painting , and some other things, and I'll give my own guess at the end of the thread.

He used just a sand-glass, which spills in 7 minutes and a second sand-glass, which spills in 11 minutes. During the whole time he turned sand-glasses only 3 times.
