America is one of the biggest Nation States in the world and yet large proportions of its geography remain untouched by human development, (Death Valley and areas of extreme temperatures for obvious reasons), why is this land left untouched?

I want an online map that lets me figure out the distance between two places. I tried google maps but I don't think there's a tool that lets me do that. And I don't want to download anything.

We did not find results for: Darlene and Boris both live on the lake. To get to Boris's house by land, Darlene has to take Mountain View Road 2 miles south and then take Lakeshore Drive 3 miles east. Boris called Darlene and suggested they go watch a soccer game at the end of School Road. To get to the end of School Road, Boris simply needs to kayak due north across the lake. If Darlene kayaks directly from her house to the end of School Road, it turns out to be exactly the same distance that Boris has to go. How far is it from Boris's house to the end of School Road?

Overall, because of Egypt’s geography, the people enjoyed many luxuries from the provided geographical and natural resources. The rich soil on which they could farm, provided fruits, herbs, and grains while the Nile provided a fresh source of food. They were also given a mean of transportation which helped them travel throughout Egypt and advance in trade/economy. And lastly, they were provided with an unlimited supply of fresh water.
