Mainland:

North Cape York
South Wilsons Promontory
East Cape Byron
West North West Cape (I think)

For those adding islands, Lord Howe Island is off the east coast, as is Norfolk (I always forget which is furthest east)

The sothern most part is likley Mewstone (Tasmania) (43°44′17″S, 146°22′16″E) is a small rocky island with steep cliffs located approximately 12 km south-east of Maatsuyker Island, and 22 km off the south coast of Tasmania.

The eastern most part should be Lighthouse Rd just east of Byron Bay

The northern most part should be Boigu Island island in the Torres Strait Islands.

The western most part is Flat Island, McDonald Islands. The westernmost island within reasonable proximity of the mainland is Dirk Hartog Island.
