There is an apparent contradiction in the following statements. Someone please point of which of them is incorrect.

1. Sea ice is melting because of global warming.
2. When in water, ice floats and displaces an amount of water weighing the same as the weight of the ice.
3. When ice freezes, it expands.
4. When ice melts, it contracts.
5. When ice floating in water melts, the sea does not change.
6. Icebergs melting will cause water to rise all around the world.

Zuh? Doesn't this mean the only rise in sea levels attributed to global warming can come from ice melting that is on land?

I am curious to know your response to the studies collected by the RATE group finding significant radioactive Carbon 14 in coal, zircons, and diamond samples at varying sedimentary levels in the geologic column?

Please do not make ignorant statements such as RATE scientists are cheating on the data they submitted, or these PhD scientists (geology, physicists, etc.) are not scientists and are ignorant because they are not specialists in chronology (i.e. evolutionists) but are Young Earth Creationists.

I tried looking it up myself, but my results were confusing, I didn't understand it. In *moderately* simplified terms, how does a new galaxy get formed?

I believe the earth's magnetism is changing over time and might reverse completely. This could have big effects, beyond the need for an Ionic magnetic bracelet.

Could magnetic properties of the earth affect global warming somehow, or the ozone hole, or human health, vitality or height, etc?

Crazy ideas are sometimes true, much to our amazement. I think I'm talking myself into getting a magnetic bracelet. I've met people that swear by them.

I'm a soldier, and my fellow soldiers and I get together once a weekend and try to brainstorm up ways to defeat the IED threat. We've dreamt up hundreds of variations of our present day armor but the fact we keep running into is weight issues if we keep tacking on armor our vehicles will be over-burdened with weight issues and everything from suspension to transmission to motor problems occur. We need a chart to compare strength and weight. Until we figure out a solution our buddies will keep on dying and 60% of all our thoughts will still be directed towards defeating this threat. Please help. Thanks.

well..not really global warming but still.

Alot of people are saying the world is runing out of water..
i dont really belive in that...considering 70 sumthing percent of the world is water.. dont give me a "salt water cant be drunk" thing..because you can make it drinkable.. but thats besides the point.

so if were really "runing out of water" i say we do nothing about this..i say we dont conserve water..because apparently the ice caps will melt and the earth will flood.

so if we waste water...theres really no problem..because we're going to get alot more of it when the ice caps melt.

so waste water...if we waste enough..mabey the ice caps melting will even it all out eh?

if you disagree with me..

dont give me a, "your an idiot that would never work" answer

give me a "your an idiot, that would never work, BECAUSE" answer.
