The wind is the lack of air movement not the movement of it. There should always be a slight breeze, as the atmosphere follows a spinning earth, but it tilts different angles, along its eliptical orbit, the mountains/buildings push and the temperature of the ocean, causing warm rising swirls that become hurricanes/tornadoes... it seems an intellegent species on this same senario of planet, would have solar powered refrigeration units off the Carribean, so those swirls, would not even happen in the first place. Also a computer simulation of our "topgraphy's influenence" according to different angles/times.Refined correlation of data would advance predictability. Structures then placed at certain locations to smooth/cancel negative functioning results. Earth perpetually in a pleasant state, as we evolve into a "Team Human" populate the universe, logical best possibility chance for realization of existence experience as human, since we are recycled back into it, lets all stop the stupid.

It seems like everyone has been programmed to think that global warming is bad. If it weren't for global warming we'd still be in the Ice Age. Why do people think that a natural process of the earth can be controlled by man?

My colleague bought a nice looking ring off of e*Bay, the seller claims it is 22 karat gold. He only wound up paying $29 dollars for the ring and I say that is just not possible. I felt the ring, and it feels like about 15 grams. And, it does indeed look like 22 karat gold but there is no bullion mark stamped inside. If somehow this was real gold, I would think my friend might be interested in trying to resell it at a higher price. But how can you determine if it is real? I don't think going to a geologist for some sort of an assay is an option. Are there any tell-tale things that can be spotted with a loupe perhaps, that would tip someone off it is real?
