I imagine this has something to do with bouguer correction. It kinda looks like the definition of bouguer correction, the B.C. depends on depth, but I wouldn't say that I know how a gravity anomaly of an infinite slab of constant thickness depends on depth!! Any help with this would be appreciated!!! Thanks in advance.

I was watching a TV show and the Geologist on there had a rock hammer/chisel that had a large magnet on it, I have looked all over the web for one like it. Does anyone know of a good place to look? I am going to AZ in 4 weeks to search for meteorites and this tool would be perfect.

My Text book isn't too hot, & I'm really having alot of trouble finding anything good online, I can't even really find a definition of "Drift Correction". What i'm really trying to answer, is an old midterm question for my geophysics class, The question is: What is the reasons for drift correction of (a) gravity measurements & b) magnetism measurements. Thank you ahead of time, will definitely choose best answer!!
