a man was found dead in an underground storage room of explosives, without marks or wounded. On the top of the limestone was found a hole, near the ventilation.

there are two suspects Mackenzie and the inpectors found with him glacial acetic acid and Dunber found with bottles of vinegar. the room is 392 cu ft.

the incident happened on an underground storage room, near the sea on a chilly night. the room was locked from the outside and not from the inside.

if this is the balanced formula

2CaCO3 + 2 CH3COOH --> Ca(CH3COO)2 + H2O + CO2

Use the balanced equation, how many moles of gas must been used to produce a certain amount of gas?

what was the volme of the small storage room?

if its 7 times 7 times 8 feet

1 m3= 1000L of gas

density of air= 1.2kg/m3

density of CO2 gas=2.0kg/m3

How many moles of gas at STP must have been used to fill that room? 22.4L = 1 mol of gas

glacial acid or vinegar

glacial= 18 mols/liters
vinegar= 1.0 mols/liters

1. If a gas is compressed from 4 L to 1 L and the temperature remains constant, what happens to the pressure?

2. Describe what happens to the volume of a balloon when it is taken outside on a cold winter day. Explain why this happens.

3. Calculate the volume of a gas (in L) at a pressure of 1.00 x 10(exponent 2) kPa if its volume at 1.20 x 10(exponent 2) kPa is 1.50 x 10(exponent 3) mL

4. A gas with a volume of 3.00 x 10(exponent 2) mL at 150.0 degree celcius is heated until its volume is 6.00 x 10(exponent 2) mL. What is the new temperature of the gas if the pressure remains constant during the heating process?

I'm in AP chem & we've got a final next week... She gave us a bunch of problems to practice but won't help us with the ones we dont get. Maybe someone could help me here?

1. A mixure of 1 mol each of CO, H2O & CO2 is introduced into a 10 L flask @ a temp. at whcih K = 10 for the reaction...
CO + H2O <-> Co2 + H2 ....Kc= 10
When it reaches eq.
a) the amount of H2 will be 1 mol
b) the amount of CO, H2O & H2 will each be less than a mol
c) the amonts of all reactnts & products will be greater than a mol
d) the amounts of CO2 & H2 will each be greather than a mol and Co & H2O will each be less than 1 mol

2) Pure liquid HCl is a poor electrial conducotr., So is pure liquid water. when these 2 liquids mix the result solution conducts electir currect very well. how do you explain this?

3) A method of removing excess solutes from a colloidal mixture is a) distillation b) recrystallization c) dialysis or d) gas chromatography

thank you so much!

I am testing the acidities of vawious drinks, so I put pennies in 7-up, a&w root beer, water, and red bull. I don't know if all the pennies are copper or not but they're all before 1985. I know the acids will atleast burn some particles off so my question is: What causes it to burn? Is it some reaction between the copper and the acid?

The solution must not be hazardous to the body. I guess what I'm looking for is a type of glue but much stronger, which can hold and retain an object in a particular shape.

Hope that makes sense lol.

Thanks
