I am camping near the river forest. It very sandy, wet and worm. Its ideal place for mosqitos. We (my friends and I) tried for years to solve that problem with all kind of insecticides that we could buy in regulary stores, some kind of smoke insecticides and spreys, and fire smoke of course..The nature is beautiful there and we are fighting with them for two years, but, with this global worming its getting harder... Anybody knows what kind of insecticide is the most effective?

I need directions on how to make a hydrolysis device which (if you don't know) separates the oxygen and hydrogen from water using electricity. I know the science behind it, i just don't remember how to put the device together. It involves a big battery and wires and two electrodes.

Two questions really, but related.

Why doesn't anyone mention the fact that CO2 contains twice as much oxygen as it does carbon? Is it just that they don't understand chemical symbols or because there is no "fear" content in oxygen?

Those who managed that one please explain how you calculate the carbon emissions of, for example an engine. My physics master told me that you can't get out more than you put in, so how does a gallon of petrol, weighing ten pounds produce more than ten pounds of carbon when burned (and please explain how much oxygen it produces).
