how many grams are in a L, cm3??

Grams measure mass and liters measure volume. It's apples and oranges! You can't compare them unless you have a substance, such as water.

1 L does equal 1000 cm3, b/c cm3 are the same as mL.

With water, 1 mL = 1 g (It's different for different substances.)

So 1 L of water would be 1000 g and 1 cm3 of water would be 1 g.

Completely depends on the liquid.

If you're talking about water, it's 1g per cm3, and 1,000g per litre.
