Moley is a mole who enjoys guacamole. To make lots of guacamole, moley sets out to buy some avocados. He is going to buy 1.3 moles of avocados. How many avocados is that?
Answer: 1.3 miles * 6.02*10^23 (avogadro's number)
=7.83*10^23 Avocado's
Alright this was just introduction. Now comes the fun part!
a)If each avocado has a density of 0.89 grams per cm^3, and each avocado has a mass of 118 grams, how much volume in cm^3 does Moley's collection of avocados consume?
b)If moley puts all his guacamole in to a hemispherical bowl, how big will the radius of his bowl need to be to fit all the guacamole in it (assume the guacamole's total volume is the same as the volume of the avacados).
c) If Moley's avocados are 8.7 cm long and the avocados were stacked end on end, how many times would the stack of avocado's stretch from the Earth to the sun? (Distance from the eart to the sun is 93 million miles; 1 cm = 0.00001KM and .621 miles = 1 Kilometer)
