Both have exactly the same amount of atoms- 6.023 x 10^23 atoms

a mole contains 6.022 * 10^23 atoms -- the ingredient does not count hence, a mole of helium may have an same type of atoms as a mole of copper. *the entire thing about chemistry!!!* hopes this helps

A mole is 6.023 * 10^23 things, regardless. You can have a mole of electrons, atoms, molecules, apples, galaxies...same number.

Where this gets confusing is where you ask for the number of moles of atoms in a mole of molecules that contain more than one atom. For example, a mole of hydrogen gas (H2) contains two moles of hydrogen atoms.
Helium and copper are usually considered monatomic, so a mole of each contains a mole of atoms.

They each have the same amount. It's like saying which weighs more - a pound of feathers or a pound of lead? (a pound is a pound is a pound)

If though they had given you like, a mole of hydrogen gas vs a mole of solid copper, then the hydrogen gas would have more atoms, because one hydrogen molecule has two hydrogen atoms (lol random tip, sorry)

and i totally didnt mean to copy cibman with my weight example!!! (sorry!)

they have the same because He alone has one atom and Cu has one atom alone (without any subscripts) and the vaule of a mole is always the same 6.02 X 10 ^23 particles

A mole is always the same number of things. It is always 6.022 x 10^23 things.
