If you had acid antacid indigestion, ehich antacid would you use? Why?
Rolaids have a pH of 0
Tums have pH of 1
Alka-Seltzer have pH of 3

You are wrong. Those pH's are not right. Most antacids contain calcium carbonate and sometimes potassium hydroxide, both are basic and their pH's are definately above 7. If these are the experimental values you recieved, then either you don't know how to use the meter or it is grossly miscalibrated.

The purpose of an antacid is to use a base to nuetralize some of the acid in your stomach. Acidic pH's are below 7 and basic ones are above 7.

Tums because the lower the number on the PH scale it is increasingly basic and bases neutralize acids and if tums has a ph of 1 it would be the best choice of the three

For me it is Tums E-X
because it works for me
quickly enough -- couldn't care less about the ph factors !!!
