here's the question, but actually, if you could point me to a website that explains it, that would be really nice!! Thanks in advance!

DIRECTIONS:Predict and balance the following metathesis reactions based on the solubility of the products. Use abbreviations (aq) and (s) for the reactants and products. All reactants and products. All reactants are aqueous.

1) silvernitrate+potassium chromate

2) ammonium chloride+cobalt(II) sulfate

Identify each substance whether it is a pure substance or a mixture. If it is a pure substance, specify if it is a compound or an element, and if it is a mixture, specify if it is a heterogeneous or a homogeneoug mixture.

table salt, magnesium ribbon, burned magnesium riboon, iodine, starch, iodine crystals, sulfur in H2O, H2O added into a burned magnesium ribbon, magnesium ribbon plus H2O, mercury, carbon disulfide, salt dissolved in water, sulfur in carbon disulfide (did it dissolve?), salt in carbon disulfide (did it dissolve?), heated lead(II) nitrate, lead nitrate, groun sulfur and table salt, ground mercury with sulfur.

Please I need your help.
If you have resources, please share it with me. Thank you very much.

whats the diff between heat of combustion and heat of formation?
when calculating, which one do i have to use products minus reactants?

ex.
if the problems tells you that the reaction of burning methane has produced say like 500 kJ...then would that be heat of combustion? except you negate it?

How long would it really take to dissolve skin?

I work in a chemistry lab and deal with HF, HCl, HNO3, and other acids. A co-worker and I were discussing the acid sceen in Saw 3 and were wondering if that scenario would even be feasible?

At what Conc., N, temp or what type of acid would be needed to produce such an actual effect?

Could any acid that exists actually dissolve your skin/other tissues on contact? And as mentioned above, then what type, conc, and N would be needed?

i have to do a project on strong and weak bases and i we have to do a demo for it and our demo was gonna be to show an example of a strong base and a weak base so it'd help if you could give me like a common compound that's a strong base and a common compound that's a weak base.

AND also if you have any other ideas on a different demo for strong and weak bases feel free to share your thoughts.

thank you very much for your time.

what is relative mass? Does it have a unit? why or why not?
Please explain and give some examples.

What is Reference mass? Is it the same to the relative mass?
Reference mass are not always given the value unit. The reference substance may be assigned a mass unit of 5. Please calculate the relative mass of a mung bean if a kidney bean is assigned 25 mass units.

When it comes to atoms, the reference particle is the isotope of carbon, C-12, which is assigned exactly 12 mass units. The relative masses of atoms, known as atomic masses (or atomic weights) have been determined. For some elements, these are:

ELEMENT ATOMIC MASS (relative mass)
hydrogen 1.01
carbon 12.01
oxygen 16.00
iron 55.85
gold 196.97
What do these numbers mean?

PLEASE HELP ME..
