help.. i need 2 examples each of word equations and formula equations balanced out

OK, lets see....

Two molecules of hydrogen gas will react with one molecule of oxygen gas to give two molecules of water in the gas phase.

2H2(g) + O2(g) --> 2H2O(g)

Two atoms of sodium as a solid will react with one molecule of chlorine gas to give two formula units of solid sodium chloride.

2Na(s) + Cl2(g) --> 2NaCl(s)

Word equations:

Two times the weight of an apple equals the weight of a grapefruit.

An apple is half the weight of a grapefruit.

Formula equations:

2A = G

0.5G = A
