Strong Bases = NaOH, LiOH, KOH, LiOH, Ca(OH)2, RbOH
Sr(OH)2, CsOH, Ba(OH)2, FrOH, Ra(OH)2
Weak Bases = Cu(OH)2, Al(OH)3, Zn(OH)2, NH3, CH3NH2, H2NNH2
Strong Acids = H2SO4, HNO3, HClO3, HBrO3, HIO3, HClO4, HBrO4, HIO4, HCl, HBr and HI.
Weak Acids = H2CO3 (carbonic acid) , H3BO3 (boric acid)
Some ideas for demos would be to react an acid and a base which will give you a salt and water and you could measure the pH of each before you mix them and the after you mix them....you could either stochimetrically find out how much or each to use to make it become neutral or use it as part of your experiment by continually checking the pH and if it is still like 12 ytou know its still too basic so add more acid until y ou can get the pH to be 7 (which is neutral)
Some household products is windex which is ammonia and a weak base and vinegar is actually a weak concentration of acetic acid. Many other household products are acids and bases....google it or check some labels around the house or of you can get your chemistry teacher to give you some chemicals from a stock solution even better.

Common strong base: sodium hydroxide (found in Drano; do not mix with anything else)
Common weak bases: ammonium hydroxide (found in "ammonia" cleaners); magnesium hydroxide (milk of magnesia), liquid soaps' antacids (like Tums)
These bases will show very different electrical conductivities. Make a very simple conductivity apparatus with a battery, a light bulb (maybe a bulb from a string of christmas tree lights or a flashlight) and wire. The weak base will not conduct very well (dim bulb or no light at all) and the strong base will conduct very well (bright light).
Handle all these materials carefully, especially the strong base. Use goggles and gloves. Drano also contains other substances so do not mix anything with it or you could get hurt.
If you can get some pH paper (not litmus paper) you could also show they have varying pH's.

Strong bases would include drain cleaners (be sure to read the labels for the active ingredient. Some strong acids make it in there instead). Ammonia could also qualify as a strong base, depending on your definition.
Weak bases would be soaps and cleaners.

Sodium Hydroxide(lye and drain cleaner), and Bleach arestrong bases. Not sure about weak ones.
