The question is; "Draw the structure of the oxime derived from ethanal. Suggest why the oxime and semicarbazone of ethanal are solids whereas the aldehyde is liquid."

So far I have the structure of the oxime of ethanal to be CH3CH=NR' but I have no idea what a semicarbazone is (not in my textbook)Can anyone please help me ! :)

I know how to do some simple charges like

NH4+ & NO3- = NH4 NO3 (charges cancel because you have on positive and one negative)

Would copper phosphate be Cu3(PO4)2?

i'm not even sure if i wrote the name for that write..is it supposed to be copper(II)phosphate?

My son has asked for help with his chemistry and I have no idea what to do. It was never one of my strong points at school so I was wondering if someone could help me with these, in as basic a way as you can because I really am terrible lol.

Q: Balance the following equations if necessary and write them as ionic equations.

a) HCl(aq) + NaOH(aq) --> NaCl(aq) + H2O(l)

b) HNO3(aq) + Mg(OH)2(aq) --> Mg(NO3)2(aq) + H2O(l)

c) LiCl(aq) + AgNO3(aq) --> AgCl(s) + LiNO3(aq)

d) H2SO4(aq) + LiOH(aq) --> Li2SO4(aq) + H2O(l)
