I want to make a handle out of what ever material that it is. If it does not fully eliminate the heat fine, just aslong as it really lowers it.

There is no material that absolutely does not let heat pass, because all materials have a finite thermal conductivity. What you want is a material with the minimal thermal conductivity, or that can be described as a thermal insulator. A lot of plastics have pretty low thermal conductivity, as do some ceramics. In particular, acrylic, glass, Teflon, and PVC are all quite good thermal insulators. Among metals, carbon steel is pretty good; it's much less thermally conductive than aluminum or copper.

Silicone is very good at displacing heat; I have silicone oven mitts and they work better than any cotton one I have ever used. It's really hard to get your head around the fact that they won't heat up like plastic, but they don't. Silicone is good up to ~500F.
